Members: Promote Your Book at the Las Vegas Writer’s Conference
Fill a Gift Basket with Copies of Your Book, Amenities, and Related Goodies to be Auctioned in support of the Henderson Writers Group at the Conference.
The Henderson Writer’s Group will work with you to produce a great gift basket highlighting the theme of your book. All the baskets will be displayed prominently at the conference April 19 – 21, 2018 for the days prior to the auction.
For more on the basket opportunity, plan to attend a How-To presentation at regularly scheduled HWG meetings in March.
I’ve already started on mine. Got my three books, a Master’s Class CD on writing, and a bottle of liquor. If I can make it over there, I might buy something from the Haunted Museum.

Since I write in the genre of Historic Fiction, but do not yet have my book published, I opted to feature one of my favorite recent historic fiction pieces, The Paris Wife about Hemingways first wife. I built my auction feature around Paris and France with a copy of the book, a DVD of the Woody Allen flick, Midnight in Paris, a copy of Julia Child’s,Mastering the Art of French Cooking, a bottle of French perfume, French milled Lavender Soap, a bottle of French Wine and the Eiffel Tower (okay, it’s a miniature version), a hat and scarve and a Paris covered composition notebook. Such fun gathering everything and putting it all together.
