Leslie E. Hoffman
Dividing her time between Las Vegas, NV and San Jose, CA, works as an independent proofreader and copy editor of fiction and nonfiction while moonlighting as a poet. Results of her midnight poetry sojourns have appeared in Writer’s Bloc; Helen: FNS; Nevada State College’s 300 Days of Sun; Mojave River Review; The California Writers Club Literary Review; Caesura, The Journal of PCSJ; Mused, BellaOnline; and They Said, Black Lawrence Press.
Leslie co-edited the PenHouseInk Press anthologies while living on the Russian River in the late ’90s. In recent years, she’s given back to the writing community by volunteering her skills in collaboration with the editorial teams of local literary journals. Memberships include: Poetry Center San Jose; California Writers Club, South Bay Chapter; and Henderson Writer’s Group, sponsor of the annual Las Vegas Writers’ Conference.
