Screenwriters, welcome to Henderson Writers Group!
We have always had screenwriting members, but never had dedicated meetings for critique scripts. So, it’s our privilege to take the Las Vegas Screenwriters Group under our wing and share valuable feedback.
These meetings will take place in person only.
Where does the group meet?
The group meets the second and fourth Thursday of every month (unless it’s a holiday) at 6:30 pm at Axcel Ship and Print, 1386 S. Boulder Hwy, Suite 130, Henderson NV 89015
Do I need to be an HWG member?
Yes. The meetings themselves are open to the public but, to read, you must join the group, which you can do here.
How do I sign up to read for critique?
Email your request to read to HWG’s President Audrey Balzart at HWGpresident@gmail.com. Tell her the date you want to read. She will verify your membership and then confirm that you are scheduled. Then, send no more than 10 pages of your script in a PDF at least 2 days prior to the meeting.
Do I need to print my own copies?
You can either print your own copies or they can be printed onsite for 10 cents per page (double-sided only).
