K. Ray Katz
Writing allows us to design the world according to our own rules. Since I retired, I have written 10 books novels: Seven adventures in the South Pacific during WW II with an eighth almost finished, plus two involving international politics, terrorists and money laundering in China and Russia. I have also written a non-fiction book “Twists and Turns” detailing with my somewhat unusual life. I have lived and worked in Baltimore, New York, Washington, D.C., Mexico, Arizona, New Mexico, and Las Vegas. I have also had the opportunity to travel to a number of other countries as a Special Agent for Army Counterintelligence as well as when I was employed in other occupations. At one point in my life, I had the privilege of working with Joan Baez, Isaac Stern, Robert Frost and a number of other well-known artists. These experiences have fueled my desire to create stories filled with hope and a little humor, tempered by the world as it really is. Whenever possible my wife and I like to take off in our RV and do volunteer work in National Parks on both coasts.
